    • Tradition is she had a brother who came to the United States in the 1800s. His name was Henry Selk and he owned a farm in Jefferson, South Dakota. He sold this farm and bought another one in Akron, Iowa. Later he moved to Minnesota. She also had a sister, Maggie Selk Anderson, who lived in Akron [6]
