    • Claborn Brazelton married Miss Anna Thornton Dec. 1, 1836, in Vermilion Co., IL. They had 8 children: Jacob, Margaret, Jennie, Mary, Albert, Joseph, Fannie, Letta. They lost two.

      Mrs. Brazelton was killed in a railroad accident near Columbus, Ohio in 1876. Mr. Brazelton married Mrs. Anna Critch Charman of Colorado in February. They lived in Iowa until Claborn's death at which time she moved back to Colorado. She was the mother of his nephew's wife, Mrs. Alexander Brazelton.
